FABRIC GUIDE

Putting together a classic British wardrobe is important to us along with making sure the garments are made from the finest materials.

We source the majority of our fabrics from Prato and Como, in Italy, to ensure we are offering our customers top quality garments with fabrics that are comfy, stylish and durable.

This guide will help you understand which fabrics will best suit you.

 Corduroy

Corduroy, a timeless and textured fabric, boasts a distinctive ribbed pattern that sets it apart in the realm of textiles.

Known for its velvety, parallel ridges or "cords," corduroy adds a touch of sophistication and warmth to any garment.

This fabric is not only aesthetically pleasing but also provides a comfortable and soft feel against the skin. Its versatility makes it a popular choice for various clothing items, blending a classic look with a hint of casual elegance.

Whether used in trousers, jackets, or accessories, corduroy effortlessly combines style and comfort, making it a go-to choice for those seeking both fashion and functionality in their wardrobe.

Moleskin

Moleskin, a luxurious and velvety fabric, is characterized by its exceptionally smooth surface that mimics the softness of actual moleskin. This finely woven textile is crafted to create a suede-like finish.

It is durable and tough, making it an excellent choice for garments that require both style and substance. We use moleskin for our schackets which adds a touch of sophistication while ensuring a comfortable wear.

Its ability to resist wrinkles and maintain a polished appearance makes it a versatile option for those who appreciate a blend of elegance and practicality in their wardrobe choices.

Showerproof Cotton

Showerproof cotton is a practical and versatile fabric designed to repel water, making it a smart choice for staying dry in unpredictable weather. This specially treated cotton fabric has a water-resistant coating that helps to keep light rain and showers at bay.
